The public beach “Škver” is situated near our house with its thick pine forest that leads to the sea. The beach is pebbly and sandy, suitable for experienced swimmers and small children.
Taxi boats in the nearness can easily and quickly take you to the peninsula Frkanj which is known because of the first nude beach where once the British royal couple was reputed to be the most reputable among naturists. Peninsula Frkanj is full of thick forests and small bays, rocky or with the finest sand, which in crystal clear sea provide perfect conditions for bathing. Nearby, there are sport facilities, boccia field, tennis courts, minigolf course and table tennis.
A walk through the city park will take you to the old town of Rab.
